Sammy

Hello!

 My name is Samantha, but I hate that name so people call me Sam or Sammy!  Some things I love are scary movies, baking, dancing, singing, figure skating, gymnastics and trampoline. I don’t really like art but I try my hardest to do it in school. My favorite subject is English because I love to read and write. I really love animals too.

Something that is hard in my life is that I’m a type 1 diabetic. I was diagnosed when I was 7, on  December 11^th. I have now had it for 6 years and 3 days. Sometimes it is really hard, but then other days I totally forget about it. I don’t take needles anymore. I’m on something called a pump. The pump stays on me at all times,

except for when I’m in the water. It gives me insulin when ever I eat, but I need to work it just by one single button.
